Programs which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are readily available to certain people in Winthrop who are struggling with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues. These sorts of programs may be effective to those rehab clients in Winthrop that might not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are unable to take advantage of an inpatient program due to personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization centers work with the client in the daytime through counseling and other rehabilitation strategies, and then the client returns home in the PM. Rehabilitation is carried out nearly each day of the week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the individual both physically and psychologically.
