Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment participates in a number of treatment services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
