Rehabbing individuals who are addicted to drugs or alcohol and have landed somewhere in the criminal justice system has proven to be effective in curbing future drug related offenses for individuals who do become rehabilitated. For criminal justice clients in West Lebanon who do partake in drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities, even un-voluntarily as is sometimes ordered by the court, these clients have a much better opportunity of addressing the root of the issue so that they can remain abstinent and off of negative influences and [[[committing drug related criminal activity.
