Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation program which works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of rehabilitation activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted people in West Chazy who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be away from their households for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals take part in traditional treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction issues while at the same time addressing psychological disorders which could keep them from staying sober after rehabilitation is done.
