Programs known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are offered to certain people in Walters who are fighting co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and mental health issues. These types of centers may be helpful to those treatment clients in Walters that might not be able to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are unable to take part in an inpatient program because of familial obligations. Partial hospitalization centers treat the individual in the daytime through therapy and other rehab methods, and the individual returns home in the evening. Rehab is carried out nearly each day of the week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the client both physically and psychologically.
