Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment takes part in a number of treatment services and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening.
