Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment participates in various rehabilitation activities and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
