Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment partakes in various rehabilitation services and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
