Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug treatment center that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a variety of rehabilitation services and methods during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
