Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab program that is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of rehab activities and techniques in the day and then returns home in the evening time.
