Treating men and women who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and have ended up in the criminal justice system has proven to be a productive method of preventing repeat drug related offenses for individuals that do become rehabilitated. For criminal justice clients in St. Edward that do take part in in drug rehabilitation facilities, even if not of their own choice as is often court ordered, these clients have a much better opportunity of dealing with the crux of the issue so that they can remain sober and away from the streets drug related criminal acts.
