Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment facility that is meant to treat substance abuse issues and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment partakes in a variety of rehabilitation activities and techniques during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
