Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility that is meant to treat substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation participates in various treatment services and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
