Centers known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are available to certain people in Roanoke who are fighting co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health problems. These types of programs may be helpful to specific rehab clientele in Roanoke that might not be able to pay for inpatient care, or who are unable to take part in an inpatient program due to personal obligations. Partial hospitalization centers work with the individual in the daytime through counseling and other rehab strategies, and the individual goes home in the evening. Rehabilitation is performed anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive plan which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the individual both body and mind.
