Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
