Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation services and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
