Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab participates in a number of rehab services and methods in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
