Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab participates in a number of treatment activities and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
