Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment takes part in various treatment services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
