Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment program that is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab takes part in various treatment services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted individuals in Ponte Vedra Beach who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient treatment, or for those who are not able to be apart from their households for extensive lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction problems while at the same time dealing with psychological disorders which may deter them from staying sober when treatment is done.
