Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center that is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehab partakes in a number of rehabilitation activities and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted individuals in Plaza who who may be unable to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are not able to be apart from their home and work for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in standard counseling and therapy for alcohol or drug addiction problems while also addressing psychological issues which may deter them from staying sober after treatment is complete.
