Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation center which is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment participates in a number of treatment activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
