Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab participates in a variety of rehab activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the night time.
