Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab facility which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehab activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted people in Pauma Valley who are unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or who are not able to be away from their home for extensive lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, people take part in typical counseling and therapy for addiction issues while at the same time overcoming mental health disorders which could keep them from remaining sober after rehabilitation is done.
