Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab program which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of rehab activities and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the significance of the problem.
