Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment program which works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab participates in a number of treatment services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
