Programs which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment programs are available to certain men and women in New Town who are having difficulties with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and psychological disorders. These types of facilities may be effective to specific treatment clients in New Town that might not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient care, or who are unable to take part in an inpatient center because of familial obligations. Partial hospitalization facilities treat the individual during the day through counseling and other rehab strategies, and then the client returns home in the evening. Treatment is performed anywhere from five to seven days per week on a tailored plan which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the person both body and mind.
