Centers which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are offered to those people in New Iberia who are having difficulties with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and mental health problems. These kinds of centers can be helpful to specific rehab clientele in New Iberia who may not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient center due to personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization centers work with the individual during the day through counseling and other treatment techniques, and the individual goes home in the PM. Rehabilitation is performed anywhere from five to seven days per week on a tailored program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the client both body and psychologically.
