Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which works to handle drug addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment partakes in a variety of rehab activities and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
