Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program that works to deal with drug addiction disorders and psychological problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab takes part in a variety of treatment activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the severity of the problem.
