Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment program which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment partakes in various treatment services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted people in Monroe Township who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be apart from their home for extended periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for addiction problems while at the same time overcoming mental health disorders which may deter them from remaining sober when rehab is complete.
