Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which is meant to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in a number of rehabilitation services and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
