Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and techniques in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the problem.
