Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehab activities and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted persons in Marion who are unable to afford long-term inpatient rehab, or who are unable to be away from their home for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in typical counseling and therapy for drug and alcohol addiction issues while also overcoming psychological issues which could keep them from remaining sober when rehabilitation is complete.
