Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation center which is meant to treat substance abuse issues and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
