Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that is meant to handle substance abuse issues and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in a variety of treatment activities and techniques during the day and then leaves in the evening time.
