The different substance abuse treatment services which are available to drug and alcohol addicted individuals in Lebanon can differ in a lot of various ways. Some alcohol and drug abuse rehabilitation programs are offered in a residential or inpatient setting, where clients reside for the duration of their rehab which provides a more conducive treatment setting. Others offer substance abuse rehab services on an outpatient basis which allows for more flexibility, although outpatient programs may not be a suitable substance abuse rehab program for people in Lebanon who are having difficulties with long term drug addiction problems. Regardless of whether inpatient or outpatient substance abuse rehab services are chosen, there are also different amounts of time that people will be expected to continue to be in the drug and alcohol treatment program. For example, some short-term programs provide programs for a month or less, whereas long-term programs will demand at least a 3 month stay.
