Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment center which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
