Rehabbing individuals who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and have ended up in the criminal justice system has proven a successful method of eliminating future drug related crimes for individuals who do become rehabilitated. For criminal justice clients in Lebanon who do partake in drug rehab centers, even against one's will as is occasionally court ordered, these persons have a much better opportunity of dealing with the root of the issue so that they can remain sober and away from being implicated in drug related criminal activity. The costs to society associated with these drug related offenses is also affected positively when criminal justice clients are rehabilitated in drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers in Lebanon instead of incarceration or other penalties.
