Through effective intervention, pregnant and postpartum women in Lebanon that are dealing with drug addiction can forego any serious effects for themselves and their infants by receiving powerful drug and alcohol abuse treatment. There are various alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities around the Lebanon area which have treatment plans and rehab environments created around the needs and challenges that currently pregnant and postpartum expectant mothers are faced with during rehabilitation. For those pregnant and postpartum expectant mothers who are fortunate enough to receive alcohol and drug abuse rehabilitation, their lives and the futures of their fetus or newborn child will not be jeopardized and they will be able to make a fresh start.
