Women who are expecting and women who have just given birth in Lebanon who are also addicted to drugs or alcohol are not only putting their own life at risk, but are also putting their fetus or newborn in jeopardy of a large number of serious consequences. The final result is very grim if pregnant and postpartum women who are involved in alcohol and drug abuse do not attempt to locate and receive effective drug rehabilitation. There are drug and alcohol rehab centers in the Lebanon area which in fact exclusively work with pregnant and postpartum women. These types of alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs offer all recommended medical care and other necessities for pregnant and women who have just given birth and their child so that addicted mothers can receive the rehab they must have for their sake and their child's.
