Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab center that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab participates in various rehab activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
