Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab facility that works to treat drug addiction problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab participates in a variety of treatment services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Kinney who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be apart from their families for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in standard treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction problems while also overcoming mental health problems which may deter them from staying sober once rehab is done.
