Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug treatment program that works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment takes part in a number of treatment activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time.
