Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of treatment services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening.
