Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment partakes in various rehab activities and strategies in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for addicted persons in Huntsville who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be apart from their home and work for prolonged lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while also addressing psychological problems which could keep them from remaining sober after rehab is complete.
