Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab partakes in a number of rehabilitation services and methods during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for addicted men and women in Huntington Station who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are unable to be apart from their home for extended durations of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in traditional treatment services for addiction issues while also dealing with psychological disorders which could keep them from remaining abstinent when treatment is complete.
