Centers known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are available to certain people in Highland Lakes who are having difficulties with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues. These kinds of centers can be beneficial to specific treatment clientele in Highland Lakes that might not be able to pay for inpatient care, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient program due to familial responsibilities. Partial hospitalization programs work with the individual in the daytime through counseling and other rehab techniques, and the individual returns home in the PM. Rehab is conducted anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both body and psychologically.
