Programs which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are readily available to certain people in Hershey who are having difficulties with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and psychological problems. These types of programs can be beneficial to those treatment clientele in Hershey who may not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient center due to personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization programs treat the client during the day through therapy and other rehab strategies, and the individual returns home in the evening. Rehab is conducted anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive plan which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the client both physically and mind.
