Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in a number of rehab services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
